The images of Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto's father and former Prime Minister, is displayed at a Bhutto campaign rally in the Punjab province, Pakistan. The Pakistan general election of 16 November 1988 were the first free elections in 11 years and became a victory for the Pakistan Peoples Party, led by Bhutto. She became the first female Prime Minister of an Islamic country.
