At this rehabilitation center where a trained staff of eight are looking after orphaned elephants, the keepers even sleep with their charges. They hope to release the orphans back into the wild - though this may take some years. The animals develop a strong bond with their keepers, who take care of them 24 hours a day.
The Develop programs include the 6x6 Global Talent Program, the African Photojournalism Database, and the Joop Swart Masterclass.
Explore is our debate and research program for investigating the important issues facing our community of professionals and the public.
