After three nights without sleep, crack dealer Bebé, (14) is woken up by his pager. Because his age prevents the authorities from charging him with possession with intent to sell, he can be used to fill the void left by arrested adult dealers. Finding shelter where he can, Bebe sells thousands of dollars' worth of drugs to whites from the suburbs every week.
