Pierre and Daniel practice in the bathroom at Carnegie Hall in New York. Violinist Pierre Constant (14) is the first African-American to receive a scholarship from the pre-college division at the Juilliard School of music. He is also already in his second year at the New York City Technical College. In between studies he manages five hours' rehearsal a day. Pierre is the oldest of three musicians in the Constant family.
