A former victim of enforced labor. Young women in situations of enforced domestic labor are a cause for concern in a number of European countries. They leave their home countries on the advice of a relative or friend already established abroad, with the promise of work or study opportunities. When they arrive they have their identity papers taken away from them and are forced into unpaid labor, usually as maids.
