A girl from Togo sells water. The container is too heavy to lift, so she must sell all the water before she can put it down. Trafficking in child workers is illegal, but continues to grow in parts of West Africa. The children, many under 12, are often sold in Benin and sent to work in city streets, or on cocoa plantations.
