This scientist knows every paper in his office, and can find anything he wants in seconds. In the particle accelerator, a 27km-long tunnel, 150m under the earth, scientists at the CERN Institute near Geneva in Switzerland make subatomic particles collide at speeds of up to 300,000km per second - as part of their research into the material make-up of the universe.
