A Kosovar grandfather and child share a loving moment in a refugee camp near the Albanian border. By far the largest number of refugees went to Albania, most arriving in camps around the towns of Kukës and Korçë. Aid organizations struggled to keep up with providing even basic requirements, such as the supply of tents, drinking water and latrines. Refugees had to stand in line for hours for food, usually a little bread, fruit and juice each day.
