A homeless woman washes beside a river. Once dubbed the ‘murder capital of the world', Medellín has recently undergone a dramatic transformation. But although the homicide rate has plummeted, people who sleep rough remain vulnerable to street violence. In the weeks prior to this photograph being taken, four homeless people were killed in the vicinity.
